Evrim Yerli
Evrim Yerli is the founder of Evolve Leadership and Coaching, specialized in designing and delivering leadership development programs, personal development programs, group coaching and team coaching programs, and executive coaching services. Besides, she instructs leadership and coaching classes to MBA and Executive MBA students at Koc University and delivers 1-1 and group coaching programs to support their leadership development.
As of March 2018, she has been appointed as the President of EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) Turkey, and continues her work as the chairwoman to the executive board. Previous to her role as president, she successfully managed her role as the VP of Research in Turkey for three years.
In addition, she has been working in collaboration with 41 North Business School as a consultant specialized in design and development on “Leadership Programs”.
Having worked as Corporate Coach at Koc Holding between 2012 and 2014; she designed, implemented and delivered corporate coaching and leadership development programs for future leaders of Koc Group (Koc Group is the largest conglomerate in Turkey, operating in various sectors such as energy, automotive, consumer durables, finance, etc. – http://www.koc.com.tr/en-us/about) Furthermore, aiming to deploy the coaching culture as a management philosophy in Koc Group, she created a pool of internal coaches and designed the internal coaching process. As a result of this project, a pool 106 internal coaches were developed; who went through an ICF accredited professional coaching program and received supervision while they coached nearly 200 managers across group companies each year.
She started her career in human resources as an HR Consultant in Koc Group and then held various HR roles in different companies and industries such as; consumer electronics, automotive, defense, durable consumer goods and tourism within and out of Koc Group. Having worked in different managerial roles in HR; she gained utmost expertise in talent management and leadership development by concentrating on them with enthusiasm.
Being one of the first corporate internal coaches in Turkey, she has a coaching experience of more than 1500 hours in various sectors such as automotive, durable goods, retail, tourism, banking, defense, food, IT, etc.)
She has been certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as PCC (Professional Certified Coach) and Adler International Canada as ACPC (Adler Certified Professional Coach). She then attended advanced coaching programs such as “Leveraging Talent through Executive and Organizational Coaching” by Eurasian Gestalt Coaching Program and “Organization, Relationship and Systems Coaching” (ORSC) by CRR Global. She is a licensed practitioner of Marshall Goldsmith, Stakeholder Centered Coaching program for the executive level and a licensed team coach by Team Coaching International (TCI). Since 2013, she has been pursuing her studies on Gestalt Psychology. Since 2015, she has been attending the “Systemic Team Coaching” program held by AoEC (Academy of Executive Coaching) in London, UK. She has completed her studies in Shadow Work in Birmingham, UK; and as of January 2018 she has been a certified Shadow Work Facilitator.
She graduated from Bogazici University, Department of English Language and Literature. In 2013, Evrim received her Master’s Degree in “Coaching, Consulting and Leadership in the Organizations” from Middlesex University, London; specializing her focus on women leadership and writing her master’s thesis on “Visibility in Leadership”.
She has one daughter.
